Proprietors description
The Quayside is run by Katharine Keane and Thomas Barrett. Our priority is to make you feel welcome and comfortable in a clean and cosy environment.
It is rare indeed that a Bed and Breakfast Accommodation finds itself being mentioned in an internationally renowned Hotels & Restaurant guide. Having been featured In "The New Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2008 " it will come as no surprise that we take great pride in the reputation we have built over recent times at Quayside.
The building was renovated from an old stone stable and is now a purpose built guesthouse accommodation in a perfect setting overlooking Dingle Bay.
We offer our guests a choice of standard or deluxe rooms. We have six en suite rooms . Our deluxe rooms provide stunning sea views while the other three are uniquely warm and cosy. All rooms are tastefully decorated and our beds are made with linen that is crisp, white and of the finest quality.
On arrival you will be greeted by complimentary sweets on your bed.
Join us for breakfast in our dining room that overlooks the most westerly marina in Europe and Dingle Harbour whilst enjoying a healthy homemade breakfast.

Local Dingle activities and amenities
Fungie the Dingle Dolphin -It is a rear experience to be able to swim with a dolphin. At the Quayside B&B, you are one minute from the head of the pier where you have the chance to see Fungie, wild and free in his natural habitat.
Cycling Around the Peninsula -Cycling is a healthy way of getting around and seeing the Dingle Peninsula. The coastline here is beautiful with its varied topography from mountain roads to quite country lanes where all you may encounter is a herd of sheep!
The Great Blasket Islands- The Great Blasket Island, the most westerly point in Europe, is the largest of a group of islands located just 3 miles off the tip of the Dingle Peninsula. The sea cliffs, and deep ocean ensure the Islands are home to a diversity of breeding seabirds amongst the highest in Ireland or Britain. The views are fascinating!
Amenities In Dingle -At The Quayside, location is one of our biggest attractions. You will find the best traditional music pubs, art/craft shops, boutiques and cafés on our doorstep while still enjoying the views of Europe's most Westerly pier.
Every night of the week a traditional Irish music session takes place that will take your breath away!
In recent years, Dingle has become renowned for its quality food. There is something for everyone however, from great pub grub to the exquisite seafood restaurants, the best you are ever likely to eat in. Of course, most of the seafood will havebeen caught locally. The trawlers (boats) can be seen from the Quayside B&B arriving into port, ladened with fish that you may be ordering that same evening in one of the many eateries! Why not leave it up to us to make a reservation that will suit you?
Directions to property
The Quayside B&B is located in the heart of Dingle town. On entering the town take a left at the roundabout. Follow along the waterfront for about 100 metres and you will see The Quayside B&B (red door/stone building) on the right hand side.
